The couple was introduced by a mutual friend in 2017 but the timing wasn’t quite right. Later that year, the couple reconnected. Fast forward to 2020 and Bryan proposed on a romantic drive through Malibu. As a San Diego wedding photographer, this wedding was a dream to capture. Brittany shared how the La Valencia Hotel was the perfect place to host their family and friends on their wedding day. La Valencia Hotel is a historic building located in La Jolla that the couple would often visit. With so many amazing memories from visiting the area, they knew it was the perfect place to celebrate their wedding.

La Valencia Hotel in La Jolla, California boasts beautiful views of the California coastline. The hotel has a rich history of hosting World War 2 officers, and Hollywood icons like Gregory Peck, Charleton Heston, and Ginger Rodgers. The couple loved the old Hollywood vibe which fit perfectly with the timeless and elegant vibe they wanted for their wedding.

An emotional moment for Brittany was putting on her dress with the help of friends. Brittany shared how she wanted a dress that was chic and elegant which went with the whole vibe of the wedding design.

The couple brought a special bottle of champagne that they received from Tobin James Winery and had held on to for a special occasion over the years. Brittany shared how this moment felt special as a first celebratory moment as husband and wife.

Because music and dance initially brought the couple together, it was a big priority for their wedding. Brittany shares how when the couple reconnected in 2017, Love Me Tender by Elvis was playing which made that song the perfect fit for their first dance as husband and wife.
