About Alexes

Hey there! I’m Alexes, an Arizona Wedding Photographer who traded the coastal vibes of California for the sunny skies of Arizona in 2019. While I’ll always carry a piece of the beach in my heart (And travel back almost monthly for weddings), I’ve fallen completely in love with the Arizona desert, and capturing weddings here has been nothing short of magical!
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me with my wonderful husband, raising two wild and adventurous boys (they’re 10 and 6 and keeping me on my toes). We love exploring, going on spontaneous trips, and enjoying the little moments of everyday life. 


 

I've been photographing weddings for over ten years, and the thing that still gets me is how different every single one is. Same structure, completely different people, completely different energy.
I'm not interested in directing couples into poses they'll forget. I want to capture what actually happened. The look right before the first kiss. The friend who ugly-cried during the ceremony. The groom who couldn't stop laughing during portraits. Those are the photos people frame.
When I'm working with a couple, I want them to feel like they're hanging out with someone who knows what they're doing. Not performing for a camera. Relaxed, comfortable, completely themselves. That's when the real stuff happens.
