Alright friends, this styled shoot was FUNKY!!! As a creative in the wedding industry I often have the opportunity to join together with fellow creatives on styled shoots. And they’re always so much fun! So, whenever a styled shoot falls into my lap I immediately say YES!! Being in an atmosphere full of other local creatives is inspiring and always a fantastic way to gain new ideas and connections. As someone who spends a lot of her time behind the lens capturing picture-perfect moments I thrive in this setting. Capturing new ideas is always a great way to get out of any kind of funk. The space came together beautifully!!

Providing the perfect setting for our styled shoot was The Clayton House, and Bloom and Blueprint was the brains behind all of the details and design. I was in awe of the rainbow of colors, vintage style furniture, and loads of texture that were incorporated throughout the shoot. In fact, something I adore about styled shoots is how well they demonstrate the various ways you can incorporate your theme and colors into every element of your wedding. From one stylish invitation suite to dreamy rental lounges, this colorful wedding inspiration is absolute #goals.

We kept things bright and fresh with multiple set ups that our two models brought to life.

The first set up inside had tons of color, texture, and unique touches like iridescent arches, fringe and more! I will admit though, those iridescent arches gave me LIFE. Seriously, the entire time we were shooting this scene I was just gushing over the way the light reflected on the iridescent arches. I couldn’t get enough! A lounge setup was created inside and outside thanks to Dang Fine Rentals and these rentals were the absolute perfect colorful wedding inspiration. A fuzzy pink couch was set underneath a teal fringe lamp and accented by colorful half-arches and an emerald green chair, yes please!!

Outside in the elegant garden was a more modern lounge set that carried on the funky theme through vibrant colors and uniquely shaped furniture. A simple wooden sweetheart table was draped with sheer peach linen and decorated with a rainbow of flowers. In the natural light, the colors of this styled shoot stole the show. Our models were a dream to work with and so was this team of creatives! When the end result turns out the way this funky-styled shoot did, it makes all the hard work absolutely worth it!
