I’m so excited to share this modern fall photoshoot at The Fig House in Los Angeles. We had an incredible team of vendors working to bring the vision to life, with Jessica Foster Events at the helm. Read on for some amazing modern fall inspiration for a Fig House wedding.
The Fig House, located in Highland Park in Los Angeles is one of the most unique venues the city has to offer. The space is full of rich hues and lush greenery which was the perfect backdrop for our fall color palette.
From Jessica:
“I thought a lot about current and past clients when thinking up the design concept. I wanted it to feel elevated, yet approachable which is the aesthetic I see a lot of modern couples looking to achieve on their wedding day. The Fig House has amazing design details and color throughout the space. We chose a color palette that was true to the fall season that would blend seamlessly with the rich colors already in place at the venue.”
Sandy from Roseville Designs created a modern invitation suite with geometric shapes that paired perfectly with the custom menus and place cards. Carbonfree certified RING BEAR provided the grooms classic band in 14k recycled gold.
Floral designer, La Tige created modern floral pieces with lots of texture and rich colors that blended perfectly with the colorful backdrop of the venue.
Borrow and Bash created a modern and fresh tablescape with ceramic dishware, vintage glasses, and linen napkins. The vegan cake with paint stroke design from Sweet Darling Cakery fit seamlessly alongside the venue’s current art exhibit.
For the attire, we went for a modern approach. The burgundy tux from Friar Tux styled with loafers and an unbuttoned look paired perfectly with the gowns from Fleurish LA bridal boutique. The ceremony gown from Rachel Rose and Peter Trends has a dramatic high slit with everyone’s favorite detail- pockets! The reception gown from Watters is perfect for cozying up in the lounge. The brides look was topped off with a gorgeous pearl trimmed veil.
Beauty team, Windy City Brides, and Makeup the Bride created an effortless look with a loose updo and dramatic fall lip.
New and Nostalgic Rentals created lounge vignettes for the perfect spot to cozy up in the evening after hitting the dance floor.
This was such a fun photoshoot to work on with an amazing creative team. As a Southern California wedding photographer, I love working with local vendors and unique venues like this one. If you love these photos and want to chat more about wedding photography, please reach out!
