Whenever a session takes place in Downtown Phoenix I know it’s going to be a FUN one! Cybil and Mike had the best vision for their Phoenix engagement session. We started at the Churchill, they have a friend who does live poems for people… like he writes them on the spot! He was in Churchill that day so we swung by and they had him make a poem for me. It’s something they’re going to have at their wedding for guests, how cool?! As you can tell through these photos, Cybil and Mike are just so much fun. They love each other and loveeee to just have fun! Fun fact: they play ice hockey together! Couples who play sports together stay together, am I right?

Okay, so you know that whole “If you’re a bird I’m a bird” thing from The Notebook… yeah, that’s Cybil and Mike! For real, we found this mural downtown of birds flying and the two of them just absolutely lit up and twirled around with so much joy! Ugh, I just love true love so much!! 

Cybil and Mike grabbed some sweet cocktails at the Churchill and I just captured them in their element. They are so comfortable with one another and as the wall in the Churchill says “So Far, So Good!” Seriously, I love them!! They were so willing to just prance around downtown Phoenix without a care in the world and I was living for it! Whenever my couples just let go of their surroundings and be in the moment with one another the photos I capture just hit differently.

After finding our way through downtown Phoenix, we ended up on the top of a parking garage just as the sun was hitting that perfect golden hour glow. And you can just see for yourself… the light was seriously delicious. The way it was hitting perfectly through the walls of that garage was perfect. The smiles, the laughter, the love!! Cybil and Mike, you are absolutely golden.
